When it was created in 1968, the Gyrofocus suspended open fireplace was a world first. The designer Dominique Imbert had just created the very first fireplace with a suspended open hearth that could rotate 360°. With this piece, the designer takes the fire to the heart of the living space and puts it in suspension. With the flame thus in levitation, it is easy to understand the emotion caused by such a creation. As original as it is efficient, this open and suspended fireplace also offers the possibility to rotate the hearth so that it can be oriented as you wish.

Avant-garde, modern, aesthetic, the Gyrofocus has been awarded numerous prizes. The suspended fireplace with open and swivelling hearth has been exhibited in the world's greatest museums, including the famous Guggenheim Museum in New York.
