The E00040000.10 alarm appears on Rika pellet stoves when the connection from the motherboard to the touch screen is interrupted.
Resolution
- Let the stove cool down and unplug the power supply
- Interrupt power to the stove for at least 10 seconds
- Restore the power supply to the stove
If the error occurs again, a technician must be called in. The "Communication failure" error can also be caused by a cable break or a short circuit.
